Established in 2010, Global Industries Co., Ltd. has been a specialist in designing and selling piping materials such as HDPE pipes, PVC pipes, and corrugated steel pipes in power plants, golf courses, FED projects, and civil engineering, construction, and equipment sites of large domestic construction companies.

In 2020, during the re-leap period, Korea Electric Power Corporation and five power generation companies promoted R&D over four years from 2016 to complete the development of GK HDPE flame retardant Pipes and obtain the best designation and patent for development selection. HDPE piping is a polymer compound that is resistant to wear, corrosion, shock, and cold. Due to its excellent chemical stability, cold resistance, and flexibility, it is installed and operated in power plants (industrial water, recycling, chemical facilities, wastewater treatment, cooling circulation, fire fighting, gas, water, sewage, etc.), and KEPCO (cable protection pipes, power cavities, and undersea tunnel cooling and fire pipes).
